Making baby food - Can I leave the skins on peaches?
Is it bad if I puree the peaches with the skin on it if I washed it?

I dont think its "bad", but I didnt bc i was concerned since the skins can contain more fiber that it would bother her stomach more
I believe i read that somewhere

I always skinned the peaches. In the beginning I was afraid she would get them stuck in her throat and it would make her cough/choke.

Peeling Fruits & Veggies - It is suggested that fruits and veggies be peeled for those babies under 8 months of age. This allows for easier digestion. If you have always left peels on, then there should be no need to begin peeling. Read more about Peeling Fruits & Veggies

I always took the skins off. My son had been through a lot with reflux and a severe milk protein allergy, so I did not want to introduce the skins when he was a baby. Peaches were one of the things that tasted great when I made my own baby food. I tasted everything to see how it compared to the jarred foods. The best was when I got them home grown on LI in season.
