Making baby food?
Is it as simple as putting the fruit in the food processor and pureeing it? Is there something else that needs to be added before freezing it? I bought a bunch of fruit the other day with the intention of making my own baby food and I want to do it before it goes bad!

I haven't done this yet, but you should check out wholesomebabyfood.com. They have great ideas and instructions for making baby food.

Re: Making baby food?
its the easiest thing ever, and saves so much money too!!
i buy organic fruits and veggies, steam most of them (the mangoes just have to be cut n peeled) and put them in my magic bullet.. then i spoon them into ice trays, freeze them, pop the cubes out and put them in a ddated zip lock..
i just take out as i need..
i just made peaches, i boiled them (i cut an "X" in the fruit, with an inch of water..the skin peeled off so easy,. and i pureed them
youd be AMAZED how different it looks from the "stuff" they put in the jar!
