Making mailing labels- question

I want to make address labels for my holiday cards this year, but don't know if I need to buy a program or if it's something I can do with MS Word. Any advice? TIA.

Yes, youy can do this with MS Word. It has a template that allows you to make labels. You just need to know what template to use (will be listed on the labels)

you can do it in word.

i usually have my addresses in an Excel file.
then go to Word.
Choose 'Labels' (putin the write size)
then 'Mail Merge'

then it will give you a pop up box to choose a file to merge the addresses from...

i think if you search "mail merge" in the Help part of Word, it might make it clearer than i am
