March Mommies to Be - why the heck not - Who wants to do an online baby shower?
The December and January mommies to be are doing this and I thought it's only a matter of time before we should get it started too. I copied and pasted this from the other ones...
Below is a description of what it's all about.
Everyone gets one person to send a baby gift too. We set an maximum amount ($20 ??) and then you have to mail your gift to get to your partner by a certain date. We will set a date once we know who wants to participate.You can't open your gift until that date, and then everyone posts pictures of the fun, cute and adorable gifts !!
If you are interested, let me know your real name (just first is fine), if you are having a or or if you are like me and staying
If you want to participate please either post the above information on this post or FM me by October 25th. I will compile a final list and assign everyone a "mail to" person over the next week and let everyone know who their partner is by November 8th. If anyone doesn't know what they're having by November 8th we can always change that date.
We can put a $20 limit on the gift (and then of course there will be the shipping charge in addition to the gift) have a mail out no later then January 10th date and set our shower date to open and post pics for January 20th . Is everyone okay with this? Overall it should cost between $25 & $30 at the most. You could always use the flat rate shipping boxes from the post office if it's beneficial (sometimes it's not and shipping first class is cheaper just takes a day or so longer)
After everyone gets a "mail to" name you will need to FM the person who has your name with your home address so they can send you the gift.
I think this gives us plenty of time to get our gifts and mail them out. If anyone thinks the dates should change let me know. I am open to all and any suggestions.

(btw - momma bear - change your dates so you have your shower closer to the end. that'll give more march mommas time to find out what they are having !!)

Are the dates that are in the post the dates that we are using for us? Just checking because I am only have my level 2 at the end of October and I am due the middle of March. Some of the later March moms might not find out the sex until they have their level 2 sometime in November.
Either way is fine, just want to confirm

Also, I think we should change the dates on this - I think those were the original dates for the Dec/Jan mommies.

I want to join too! Technically since they changed my DD I'm a Feb mommy now but since I joined the March mommy thread in the beginning I just feel like I'm going to hang here!  And who knows, I still might be a march mom!
