I'm going to go out on a limb and say Monroe is the girl and Moroccan SCOTT is the boy.
They're not AS ridiculous as they could be. I think Monroe will grow on me. Moroccan won't.

Baffles me...reading though the "10,001 Baby Name" book, and those two names are those are the ones picked.
Eh, I'm going to remember the rule I stood by, they are her kids, so she gets to name them.
But in the back of my mind....really??

Carey and hubby Nick Cannon's son is named Moroccan Scott Cannon and their daughter is named Monroe Cannon, the couple announced on her official Web site.
Scott is both the middle name of Cannon, 30, and his grandmother's maiden name. Carey and Cannon's daughter did not receive a middle name because the singer herself doesn't have one.
As for the inspiration behind the names, Monroe was named after Marilyn Monroe, who has been an inspiration to Carey, 42, while Moroccan comes from the top-tier of Carey's New York City apartment, which features Moroccan-inspired décor and was also the site of Cannon's marriage proposal.

I would have thought the girl's name would have been girlier, but I guess the inspiration is pretty girly.
Morroccan is just weird. It doesn't even sound like a name. I think Morrocco would have been a better choice.

Im going out in a limb here and say, I actually like the names. Celebrities name their kids all kinds of non common names so this is nothing out of the ordinary lol.
