I can take 7 months off and choose to use accrued time if I wish. They do not pay me for any of it. I work for the state.
Same for me! I'm taking 12 weeks as of now and using my accrued time.
I did like a flex spending thing with my salary that allowed me 10 weeks full salary then the rest of the 5 or so months at 50% salary. I will be using most of my accruals.

6 wks vaginal, 8 wks c section. No pay just NYS disability which is a joke.
ETA: I work for a small company so I don't get the 12wk FMLA. It really sucks.
Same as me but I am going to speak to my employer & see if I can work something out where I will work from home a bit. I am having a difficult time with knowing I will only have 6 weeks

3 months fully paid. I also have 3 weeks vacation so I'll have a total of 15 fully paid weeks.

I think that's good. Many places don't pay at all - like mine! And I only get 6 weeks off. Other places will hold your position for up to 12 weeks!
ETA: I am getting mad because I just read everyone's response. My firm does not even follow the FMLA (it's too small). All I want is 12 weeks off - I don't even care about pay for that time.

Re: Maternity Leave at your job
I did not get any paid leave for my maternity leave. I got disability at $170 a week for 8 weeks. That's it.
