The baby is measuring 4 days ahead. Also I originally thought my weeks started on Wednesdays but they went through my dates again today and confirmed my weeks start on Mondays, so I am 13 weeks today.
I bawled as soon as the screen came up...it was so emotional for me.
please update us later after you get home from your appt.! Can't wait to hear about it!
oh thats awesome!! its always nice to hear that they are measuring ahead of schedule!! 
i would be bawling too!! i get teary eyed everytime i get a sono.. 
i can't help it!
i will definitely update when i get home!!

hey guys...just got back from my ultrascreen...almost 13 weeks and everything looks good. early guess by the sonographer is another girl. 12/28 we'll find out!

Got the results from the NT and everything looks great! So relieved. Glad to hear everyone else's appts went well! Can't wait to start the second trimester.

Thanks. It was starting to fade and has now returned.  Keeping my fingers crossed that it is on its way out soon!

hey girls!
so i had my NT scan the other day.. and everything came back normal on the twins which is great news!
but i am just scared because of the fragile X thing that i tested for.. we might need to see a genetic counselor and a possible CVS test also.. i just hope they are okay  
also my cerclage is scheduled for tuesday next week!!

I don't know too much about fragile x but I did see a genetic counselor (because of my age...I'm 38) and she was so helpful. I would definitely suggest seeing one so you can ask about this. Glad to hear everything came back normal on the NT scan!

just a note from a BTDT b/c DD was a June baby. Don't register before the new year or don't get your heart set on some of the stuff. some of the companies will discontinue a pattern or an item come the new year. last time i began registering and had to replace a bunch of stuff (i.e. the color of my maclaren, etc.).

I had my NT scan today and all looked OK except the baby wouldn't turn over so they couldn't get the right measurements. So amazing though!!! I feel so relieved!!!
So glad your appointment went well! I can't wait til mine tomorrow to make to get some relief from the worry!

I was thinking the same thing. I'll probably do some preliminary research, but not officially register until after X-mas. I'm off the week in b/w, so we'll most likely go then.

hey guys..anyone close to finding out their baby's gender? I go in a week and a half (i will be almost 17w) and i am hoping to find out then. I already have a hunch...i think baby a is a boy...i thought i saw a little something between those tiny little legs! and i think baby b is a girl!
so this may be dumb, but what is this cerclage test?
I know i got the first part of the downs done and so far so good...but they never came back with results for all the other tests. like the fragile x and all that stuff...i signed all of the consents and i thik that was done when they took like a million vials of blood over a month ago...should i be asking about that or wait for them to tell me?

just curious- why is everyone waiting til after the holidays to register? i read on a previous post that patterns and things can get discontinued, but im assuming the basic stuff will always be the same, no?
my next doctors appointment will be on the 23rd- if all goes well (im a neurotic mess) we're going to start registering for the basics the second we get home...
and speaking of which... any advice for the basics? LOL
car seat, stroller....? uh..... coffee lol

My name is Debbie. I am 37 years old and am due on May 9th with my 2nd child. My DD is 11 (will be 12 when baby arrives).
I live on the South Shore but grew up in Northport so my Doctor is located there and I'll be delivering in Huntington. Anyone else?
I guess I have some catching up to do. Starting from the beginning. lol
I hope to get to know you all better.

my high risk doctor knew the gender of my twins by the 12 week mark.. but we are not finding out !!
