well, we are having a Chat Icon Chat Icon and we are sooo happy! I knew from day 1 that it was a boy Chat Icon

he will be Jack Joseph (JJ) and everything looked great with him at the Level II! I have finally gained weight, +2 lbs. since pre-pregnancy. I am starting to "feel" pregnant. Getting up from sitting on the floor is getting tougher. I can still lay on my stomach though it freaks me out b/c I can feel Jack moving a TON Chat Icon i feel like im doing something wrong!

I have been feeling him since 16 weeks, real kicks at 18w6d and yesterday, I felt him "roll" ... kicks are getting stronger at 21 weeks. The u/s tech told me that I have an entirely posterior placenta, probably why I feel the kicks so strong and so early!

Once again, congrats on your baby boy! What exactly is a posterior placenta? Also, we are always responding to the same posts and I'd love to know your first name! lol

We had our level II a week and a half ago, but stayed Team Green Chat Icon Baby's looking good and the level II was amazing.

21w2d today and feeling baby more. Still low in my belly (right below my belly button).

Never did get that spurt of energy in the 2nd trimester! lol. I wasn't feeling great this weekend so I did lots of nothing. Had lots to do (errands, cleaning), but couldn't seem to get my lazy but up to do them. I blame the cold I think I had.

Re: **May 2010 Mamas**

We had our Level II last Wednesday. I'm 21w 2 days today. I feel the baby intermittenly throughout the day, more so in the morning and at night when I finally settle in. I can actually see it move if I look at my belly too! DH has been able to feel it for over 2weeks now. We are still team Chat Icon , but I hated that the sono tech knew and we didn't! Hope everyone is feeling well. My OB did say I can have a glass of Champagne on New Years and I asked if I could substitute with a glass of wine, he said people do it in France everyday!! We'll see how spunky I'm feeling Chat Icon

I have 10 more days until my Level II and I can't wait! My gut feeling is saying that it's a boy..so we will see.

I have been in nesting mode pretty bad lately. DH gets a little annoyed because I'm starting all these projects..but then can't do the heavy lifting...but he's been a good sport about it.

I already started a tiny registry for basic things, and then will finish it in January. Hope everyone is feeling great!

When are you ladies going to register? My family is bugging me to register before the holidays but we were going to wait till 20 weeks, which is like the week before Christmas. What to do what to do. Chat Icon

I am planning to register after my Level II which is on the 6th. We will be finding out the sex so I figured it'd just make it easier than to start registering in dribs and drabs. Plus with the holidays out of the way I can focus 100% on the registering process.

Re: **May 2010 Mamas**

Welcome Carrieann! :)

Hey everyone! I had my level II last Friday. Some of you may have seen what happened. If you didn't, I'll give a brief summary...

I went to Impact at 16 weeks to find out the gender and was told that I was having a boy. I even started my registry, named him and fell in love with this little boy. Well.. at my Level II, we found out that it's a girl! So, even though I am super excited to have another girl, I am now mourning the loss of my son. Does that make any sense? lol

I'm so glad to see that everyone is doing so well. Am I the only one that hasn't gotten any energy back yet? I keep waiting. lol

I am getting bigger and feeling her more and more every day. In fact, she likes Sherbet. lol She was moving like crazy last night after I had a bowl. :)

My next Doctors appointment is on the 29th.. it's just a belly check though. The sono tech told me to tell the Doctor to schedule me for a growth sonogram in a few weeks and she'll check the gender again.

So.. is everyone ready for the holidays? I have so much wrapping to do. It's a lot harder now that I do it on the floor. I started the other night and was hurting.. soooo not comfortable. lol

Oh well, I'd better get ready for work. I hope you are all having a great day!!

Happy Holidays!!!

Debbie- I think it is perfectly normal for you to mourn the fact that your baby is not a little boy. You pictured a baby boy in your head, picked out things for him, and even named him! I know you are very happy to have a girl- but it still makes sense- don't be hard on yourselfChat Icon

Oh- and gift wrapping the other night did a number on my back! I just learned to do things in small increments now.
