That's a significant increase, nearly doubling in 48 hours. It's doesn't actually have to double in 48 hours, it's actually normal to take up to 72 hours to double. So the beta in and of itself doesn't worry me.

If you're not yet 6 weeks, I wouldn't worry about what you're seeing on the u/s yet. Hang in there a few more days!

Thank you. Reading positive thoughts makes me feel better. My Drs are all doom and gloom. I'll be 6w3d on Sat so we shall see

I definitely agree with the above- it nearly doubled in 48 hours which is great. If you'll be 6w3d on saturday you weren't even 6 weeks at the last sono? That's really early to tell. Sending you lots of good thoughts!

I'm bleeding but they can't tell where the bleeding is coming from and I'm crampy almost feel like I'm constipated. Just went in for a sono and there is a sac of some sort but they can't tell if anything is in it yet. I'm 5w3d. I feel like there should be more. Getting beta done now and mon and then on mon wil find out if the pregnancy will continue.

Update - still unknown per dr. My Hcg didn't double it went from a 1518 to 2889. Should have been over 3000. The sono tech thinks she sees the beginning of something growing so dr said it's now a waiting game. I have another sono on Sat to see if the something has progressed. There is definitely a sac but dr said she is not confident to tell me if it will be viable this early in the game. Ugh.

Update #2 - I have a Subchorionic hematoma which caused the bleeding. Saw hb today at 119. Dr said my miscarriage rate was 60% last week and 10% this week. Will feel so relieved once the first trimester is over.

Such a happy update!!! I had the SCH too behind baby B like I had mentioned in a previous post! It's scary but I had NO further complications from it. Many many congrats!!!!

I had a feeling you'd get good news Chat Icon Chat Icon

In fairness, I was convinced I'd miscarried every time I bled like that too. First trimester is fraught with paralyzing worry and physical misery, but it is fleeting. Keep us posted!
