May be TMI: Gums/Teeth
Anyone else have random bleeding from their gums? I've had it two days in a row! It tastes so metal-y! Yuck!

Totally normal with pregnancy. Pregnancy causes your gums to be extremely sensitive so bleeding and swelling is normal. You may want to stop into the dentist for a routine cleaning, this way they can get rid of any additional plaque that might be adding to the swelling.

Re: May be TMI: Gums/Teeth
i have that when i brush my teeth - i've always had sensitive gums - but now they're 10 times worse...
i got a "very soft" toothbrush and that makes a big difference!

Thanks for the info! I am a "heavy" brusher, meaning I usually wear the bristles out fast! I will have to invest in an extra soft one! I hate going to the dentist!!!

i've noticed this too.... especially when I floss. also, more is getting in there when i floss. because the gums are so sensitive during pregnancy, it's more important than ever to brush often and floss. i need to make a dental appointment!
