but i was single.
If the person were in a relationship... then No, i dont believe it's meaningless. To me, its meaning is that s/he doesn't care enough about the relationship to keep that aspect solely with the person they're with

If you are not involved with someone else-- it can mean nothing... but, if you are-- then you are concsciously making this decision to do something that would not be considered "nothing" to their SO

It means something when that man is in a committed relationship or even married. That means he is not through with playing the field. If he is single then he is definitely looking to play around.

Me, personally, no. I would not believe that. But that's just me.
Me neither. I think if you are in a relationship, especially married I don't think you could have a meaningless kiss. IMO cheating can be emotional or physical.

For me, it would mean for a split second, he thought about me, hesitated and decided "F her." That's what would bother me.

Nope. THere's a huge stimga to cheating, of any kind, while married or in a relationship, so if this person stepped outside that line to kiss a friend, that means there's something there to draw him out.
