Measuring small @ 33 weeks?
Went to dr today and she said I am measuring very small (she measured my stomach). Getting sent for another sono. At 30 weeks, the baby weighed 4lbs, which is large (according to my google research ). I did tell the dr that I just had the stomach bug for the last 3 days and haven't eaten since Friday, but she said I am still pretty small. I'm not terribly worried, but am curious if anyone else went through this too? Hopefully I can get the sono this week.

Honestly, I don't think measuring your stomach is accurate. I would wait until your growth sono. 4 lbs at 30 weeks is great, so I'm sure you're fine. I went today at 33 weeks, 2 days and one baby was measuring 4 lbs 1 oz and in the 31st percentile and the other baby is measuring 4 lbs 15 oz and in the 63rd percentile. I think based on your measurement from 3 weeks ago, you are more than fine.

Re: Measuring small @ 33 weeks?
My belly was measuring small at 32 weeks and my doc sent me for a growth sono. The doctor and sono tech were wondering what the heck I was doing there My Was measuring at 4.5 pounds already After the sono the doctor that I met with at the hospital said the size of my belly is irrelevant, what matters is that the baby is growing at a healthy rate.
If your LO is already 4 lbs at 30 weeks, you shouldn't have anything to worry about. I understand if you are nervous because I was a wreck also, but you will be fine!!

Re: Measuring small @ 33 weeks?
you are also tall, more room to spread out as long as the baby is measuring OK, whats the big deal
jack measured 3.13 at 31w and was 8.7 at birth dont think you have a teeny tiny on your hands (or in your belly)

Re: Measuring small @ 33 weeks?
When pregnant with DD - I measured small and so did DD starting at 32 weeks. They were way more concerned with DD measuring behind than me. They only became concerned with me when my amniotic fluid was low. From 32 weeks until I was induced at 38 weeks we constantly went for growth sonos. DD was small but healthy and never spent a minute in the NICU. I would not worry about the size of your belly just your fluid levels and how your DC is growing.
