Medela pump users
Is there a storage container bigger than 5 oz to pump into? I haven't seen one. What do you use? I've been just stopping, untwisting the container and replacing it with a new one. There has to be something bigger, right?

I use evenflow glass bottles. They screw right into the pump parts. You can get the 8oz bottles and they are pretty cheap.

unfortunately NO! it is soooo annoying to have to do the switch - I actually do it without even turning the pump off - I've gotten very tricky!
I did just discover Lasinoh bags though - they hold 6 oz. and they were almost half the price of the medela bags, but you cannot pump into them.
eta: - I did not know about the glass bottles - good find!

Re: Medela pump users
I always stopped and put on another bottle.
But until 10 months old, DS never ate more than 3-4 ounces in a sitting anyway.

Re: Medela pump users
I wish I had that problem. I barely fill up the 5 oz bottles.

Re: Medela pump users
When I pump in the morning I usually end up stopping once my bottles are full b/c I'm too lazy to switch. I have measured, and filling the 5oz medela bottles (to the brim) is a little over 6oz. I use the Lanisoh bags.

Re: Medela pump users
I have a similar issue whenever I pump first thing in the morning. Sometimes I'll pump directly into 2 drop-ins (each holds 8 oz). Otherwise, I quickly pour the milk into drop-ins and re-screw the bottles back on.

Re: Medela pump users
the emdela pump will take any bottle that has the small size threads. (gerber, evenflow, etc) so just buy a couple of cheap 8 ounce botles to screw onto the pump.
