My BF's DH is bi-polar but does great on his meds - no, you would never guess it.
I dated a guy who was OCD - and found out recently that he committed suicide last year - which totally shocked me.
I have to say I am amazed by the number of people suffering from various mental illnesses. It just seems so foreign to me...

Lots of it on my father's side of the family. We werent that close to his side when I was growing up. We were kept away, I guess. I don't really know the full story.
