Menu for Dinner party

How does this sound? (having friends over sat night)

Appetizers:
Bacon rolls
spinach/artichoke dip
sopprasatta (sp?)
Assortment of cheeses and crackers

main course:

Penne a la vodka
Chicken Parm

Sides:
Creamed spinach
Salad
Garlic bread
regular bread

Dessert
whatever my friends bring!!! :)

What do you think? Do i need to add anything/take anything away?

Girl, you don't need that many sides.. Salads and some bread is fine :)

nix the creamed spinach. you have the salad, and your pasta and chicken dish are both heavy.

there will be no room for dessert (which would be a travesty!)

I would actually just keep the appetizers to the dried/cured meats and cheeses with crackers..maybe all some grapes/apples/melon. again, your main course is heavy, you don't want people full before it begins!

I dont get how the Creamed spinach works withthe Chicken Parm and the Pasta. Maybe a side of tomato & Mozz instead
