Actually... the scenario that happened today in the 11th inning... was more or less the one that I described yesterday.
Man on 1st and 2nd. One out. Tie game in extra innings. Who do you want at the plate?

Well after last night's game.... i officially have "no comment" on this. 
EDIT: The announcer said it best after the game last night. The biggest problem with the Mets is... they can't seem to carry any sort of winning streak this season. It seems like after every big win... follows an equally disapointing loss.

I just don't get it...they bring their A game when
they played the nationals and took 3 out of 4 and then the they loose 2 out of 3 to the pirates, a team we should have beat...

I am actually looking forward to football season this year. Hopefully the Steelers will have another good year like last year.
The "New Mets" sure look like the "Old Mets" to me, with a couple of new stars...I can't say that we deserve to be in the playoffs with the closing pitching staff we have, unless we make some moves on the trading deadline.
