Mickeys Not So Scary Halloween party- dressing up question
So I know kids are supposed to dress up for the party, do the adults generally do also ?
And- as far as costumes, is it super chilly there in October ? Trying to figure out what kind of costume to get for DS and DD...
Any one have any costume suggestions ???

Re: Mickeys Not So Scary Halloween party- dressing up question
My sister went 2 years ago and she said some adults did dress up.
October is a cr@p shoot as far as weather. When she was there it was in the high 80s low/90s the entire time.

Re: Mickeys Not So Scary Halloween party- dressing up question
a lot of adults dress up. mostly disney themed costumes, but they totally do! a piece of advice, if you're going to get dressed up, just make sure you don't go dressed up BEFORE not so scary starts because they'll make you change. i made that mistake 4 years ago and they had to give me a long plain shirt to put over my pirate dress/costume. i had to take off my makeup before they let me in the parks too. :( october CAN get a little chilly at night but it's more chilly in december than october. october is the best time to go to the parks i'll be there this october (like every year) make sure you don't miss epcot's food and wine festival

Re: Mickeys Not So Scary Halloween party- dressing up question
Sorry to crash, but I went to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party about five years ago with my friends and their children. Adults do dress up. I had dressed up like a pirate.
The weather was in the 80's when we were there.

Re: Mickeys Not So Scary Halloween party- dressing up question
Yes 80-90% of the kids were wearing some form of costume from simple homemade ones to going all out. It was pretty hot the night we went (i can't remember if it was the 29 or the 30th of Sept.).
There were plenty of adults in costumes too. I would say 40%or more. We didn't dress up but DD was tinkerbell wings and all. Many families were dressed in themes - like peter pan (captain hook, peter pan, wendy, tinkerbell, lost boys etc), incredibles, pirates, etc.
We were there the end of Sept thru the beginning of Oct -- the weather was perfect - HOT during the day though - upper 80's one day lower 90's I think - and mid 70's or warmer at night -only one evening was a bit chilly - and we weren't cold at EPCOT only when we got back from the park and tried to sit on the beach at the poly to watch the fireworks and the water parade - so DH just ran in and grabbed us sweaters.
DD was warm the night we went to MNSSHP and was comfortable in her tink costume - and didn't need anything - I did bring a blanket, sweater and long sleeve onesie in case it was cold but we didn't need it
Here are some pictures from that night!
This is what happens when DD takes her shoes off and you let grandma redress her
