Re: Migraines
I have them too. My understanding that you USUALLY don't get them while being PG. Oh well!!

Re: Migraines
ugh! i remmeber those! they're pure torture! i didnt take any meds or herbs and stuff. i was afraid that it would harm my baby. i think some ppl on here has taken mild medication as directed by their doctors. i just left it alone. tried to think happy thoughts. sounds corny but once in a while i would be rid of the prob. hope your's doesn't last throughout your pregnancy!

Re: Migraines
I had them throughout my 1st and 2nd tri's. They were awful...I only took tylenol which didn't do much but took the edge off a little bit.

Re: Migraines
I had them severely before and during my first trimester, but was nervous about taking medication...my doctor suggested adding some caffeine (1 cup of coffee, a soda) each day and if I felt one coming on to have another...it worked sometimes, other times, I just had to suffer through...I'm 29 weeks now and they are (knock on wood) completely gone since about 14 weeks!

Re: Migraines
I had horrible ones from my first trimester into my second. I am 25 weeks now and they have subsided somewhat, I still get headaches, but not nearly as bad. Tylenol did nothing, all I could do was lay down.
