MIL Issues- long, sorry!
Does anyone else have a MIL like mine? You knoe naggy and meddling?
Saturday we go to her house because she likes to spend time with our almost 8 month old baby, that is normal... But when it comes to feeding the baby, I'm surprised that my FH and his siblings aren't 900 pounds!!! Everytime the baby makes a noise (happy or annoyed) she says in an annoying voice, "Jeeerrrriii?? Is she hungry??? Should she eat now?"
and I say, "No, ma, you just fed her 2 jars of food an hour and a half ago and she had a bottle 20 minutes ago."
Then a little while later MIL says the same thing to me. And I say, "yeah, I'll make her a bottle." And MIL says "JUST a bottle??? I thought she has to eat 3 meals a day?? What does the doctor say about how much she should eat???"
Mind you it's like close to 9 pm at this point. So I tell her it's fine, she doesn't HAVE to have 3 exact meals every day. Most of the time she skips part of the jar food or half the bottle cause she doesn't want it anyway. So FH at this point says to his mom (in an annoyed tone) that after almost 8 months of having her, the baby doesn't seem to be malnourished (she has lots of chub).
Sorry this is long, does anyone else have this issue? This isn't the only baby related thing she nags about, it's just the most recent. Any ideas??? TIA

Re: MIL Issues- long, sorry!
I can relate....my DD is only 3 wks old & MIL swears she needs more ounces per feeding....and when we left her to go to a wake yesterday she fed her 2 oz. every hour! She was drinking 3 1/2 ounces every 2-3 hours...
She keeps saying, oh she's so hungry, oh if you fed her more she wouldn't be fussy...ummm, thanks but....
