Mirena IUD?
This was just recommended to me by my ob/gyn. I had high blood pressure and will not prescribe bc pills unless it goes down.
Does anyone use this? I am thinking about using it because I won't have to worry about remembering to go and get them each month.

 I know NOTHING about IUD's..can someone explain? Is this the one that gets implanted in your arm?

No. It goes in your uterus. It lasts 5 years.

You mean the one that is no longer in use - Norplant? Or the new one? I don't know the name of the new one...
ETA: Found it - the new one is called Implanon
