Yes, DH & I went back in 06...It was alright, but I honestly would not go back. To me it was very boring & very "old"

Re: Mohonk Mountain House
My dad got us a g/c for 2 nights there for our anniversary! I've visited there before, though we never stayed. It's gorgeous, and there is ice skating and cross country skiing...In the better weather hiking. The food is delicious. It's high-end but rustic and a bit old-timey...They probably told your DH, but a jacket is required for dinner (DH is not happy about that!). There's also a great spa--I am getting a massage when we go.
Post a review when you get back! I'm trying to decide what month to use our g/c.

Re: Mohonk Mountain House
My husband and I have been there a few times and we really like it. The food is just okay, but I love the atmosphere of the place. The indoor pool is nice and the spa is great. And in better weather, the hiking is great too.
