Mom of 2 month old with feeding question...
I am EBF and pumping a lot. My DD usually takes about 3-4 oz with the bottle of breastmilk.
Is it okay if there are times in which she takes only 2oz? In the middle of the night, she doesn't always want 3-4, but I want to make sure she is getting enough. I remember reading that it isn't good to let them "snack" and that a full feeding is necessary at every feeding.
Thanks!

My ds (5 weeks old) takes a snack at night. I figure this might be how he will eventually go the night without eating???

I've never read anything about not letting a BF baby snack. I always feed on demand regardless of whether it's a long nursing session or a short one. DS is 4 months old. He'll nurse for a long time during the day (at least 30 minutes), but he'll only nurse for 10 minutes at a time during the middle of the night.
