OMG, it goes so fast. DH was looking at DD last night and said "we have to have another one!!" DD is only 15 months old!

Yup, I tell everyone I want to freeze time and keep him this age. It really is amazing how fast time flies Chat Icon

You have a looooong way to go until he is marching off to independence-land - don't you worry! Chat Icon

Cailen is still such a baby at almost 3. He wants to do everything himself, is a little man, but he always wants to cuddle in my arms like a newborn. As much as he hates being called mommy's little baby, he will sometimes sneak in that he is mommy's "big boy baby" Chat Icon Chat Icon

I cry about this everyday. I am doing everything in my power to impede Yael's mobility so she'll stay cuddling in my arms for just another day, hour, minute, second Chat Icon Chat Icon I have to say, the bittersweetness of it all is that much more poignant with my second, and I suppose it's why I ache each and everyday for another baby... which I may have just convinced DH to have Chat Icon Chat Icon

While I loved the newborn stage.....I have to admit that I ADORE Lily as a little lady.
I love watching her personality as it continues to develop.
I love how he wants to help me and her daddy.
I love how she explores everything, and the look on her face when she discovers something new.

So don't fret....it keeps getting better and better and better!

I was like in a Fred Flinstone car digging my heels in to slow it down but I learned to ease up, let it happen and enjoy the ride. I realized, it's going to happen. He's going to progress and excell and grow out of those size 1 diapers! And until I see another newborn, he is that tiny baby to me. He's my tiny baby boy and fits right in my arms! And he will even still, when he's 32! Chat Icon Chat Icon

I'm totally with you!! Between 4-6 months it was like one thing after another... My DD will be 6 months tomorrow. I do love that she's sitting though- to see her sweet face like that- look up at me from that position is just toooo much!!Chat Icon And she loves flipping to her belly these days and going down to it from sitting- she's starting to pull up and "crawl" backwards!! I just want it to slow down. I'm not ready for the whole crawling/ walking yet. I just want her to stay little for a bit longer. To me, this is the absolute best best best time (DD was colic through 4 months) and I am just in awe at what a sweet, precious, unbelievable person DH & I have created. It kind of gives up baby fever all over again lol!!!!!!Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon
