2. How often do you bathe your DC?

When she was that old her sleep during the day was erratic. But at night she was going anywhere from 5-7 hours.

I bathe her 1-2 per week, still now at 3 months. How dirty can she get? Chat Icon

DD is 11 weeks old. She doesn't sleep much during the day. I would say a couple of 25 to 30 minute naps. She takes last bottle at 9pm and sleeps until I wake her for her first bottle at 5:30am. She's pretty much sleeping through this feeding and then wakes up by herself around 930am. I alternate sponge bath and a full bath every other day.

I do a bath about twice a week, or more depending on how much he is spitting up (he starts to smell!)

He is more of a catnapper during the day (very frustrating!), but I'm blaming it on his reflux and stomach (milk allergy) issues right now and hoping it gets better. Probably sleeps about 2-3 hours total during the day.

Goes to sleep around 8-10pm and sleeps until 2:30-3:30Am for a bottle, and then sleeps till 6:30-7:30 Am.

I'm hoping all of this gets better soon.

BTW...he is 9 weeks old

Re: Moms of 2 month olds - 2 questions

My DD is 9 weeks old today.

She sleeps from 8 or 9 pm until about 1130 pm. feeds then sleeps again until about 330am. feeds and then sleeps until 6am. then she's up sometime between 7 and 8 am... and usually that time she's up for good.

during the day.... she only takes random cat naps of about 20 minutes here and there. there's no set nap schedule for her. i'd like there to be. but she refuses to sleep during the day... and i'm really working hard to get her to sleep through the night without all the wake ups.

eta: i forgot about baths... she gets a bath at night every other day or every 3rd day. in between days she gets sponge baths before we dress her. sometimes she even gets a sponge bath the morning after she had a bath just because of spit up. I like a clean baby. :)

this is almost ditto my situation. mine is 6.5 weeks old. he fights daytime sleep like crazy, and nighttime usually we get one 3.5 hour stretch but then it can range from 1.5 to 3 hours.
I'm shot but not sure how to "fix" it since he's still pretty young.

My DD is 7 weeks and we give her a bath almost every day..unless we're exhausted, then we skip a day.

She eats at 9.. we give her a bath at 11:30.. then feed her at 12..she sleeps until about 4:30, feed her again and then she's on a 3 hour schedule.

How do I get her to sleep longer at night?

Oh and during the day she sleeps after every feeding for 3 hours unless something is bothering her or she's bored.. then shes up and crying.

1. How often does your LO sleep during the day? Night?

During the day he has no set schedule yet. Between 9-5, he will sleep for 2-4 hours after a feeding. After 5pm he cat naps and feeds about every 30-45 minutes until bedtime at 8. He just started sttn thus week. He goes down completely by 9 pm and sleeps 5-6 hours.

2. How often do you bathe your DC? Every other day. Days in between I baby wipe him down.

DD will be 11 weeks on Sunday and usually takes a good morning nap (about 1.5 hours after she gets up in the morning) and cat naps for the rest of the day. She's usually a mess by around 6 p.m. At night she sleeps about 6-7 hours at a time...sometimes more

I was bathing her every other day but now its been almost every day. She likes to pee when I take her diaper off to change her and pees all the way up her back into her hair Chat Icon Thankfully thats only once a day!

I have a 2 month old and we do bath botte and lullabies ever night at 8. Baby is asleep by 9 930 and he sleeps until 6 am. We wash his hair every other night but we bathe every night, it calms him and he loves it.

My DD also has reflux and milk protein allergy. Is he on meds? I started DD on Zantac about 2 weeks ago and she's a different baby. Sleeping much better and actually naps during the day. It's nice to see her not miserable all the time!

Are you BF or FF? DD is on Elecare and doing great. I also switched her bottles to MAM anti colic bottles and she has done much better with the gas and fussiness

Once you find something that works it absolutely does get better!

DD is 9 weeks today. We bathe her every other night . Her schedule is something like this....she'll eat during the day every 3 hours and once she eats she's up and "playing" for like an hour or so and then sleeps then repeat...at night she's been STTN for about a week now..she'll stir and wake sometimes but not to eat

Ashap215:

We are on Neocate and Axid and beachnut oatmeal in the formula. Went to a GI through Good Sam. There has definitely been improvement but he is still unsettled often. Dr isn't too concerned because he's gaining weight. My ped suggested prevocid but the GI said that's indicated for 12 months and above and he doesn't sound severe enough. We go back in a month.

My DD will be 10 weeks tomorrow. She gets a bath every other day and I slather her in aquafor on the off day b/c of skin irritations.

She is SSTN roughly 7pm-6am. During the day she has one long nap and then cat naps the rest of the day. She eats constantly during the day.

This is the complete opposite from my DS who didn't sleep mire then 4 hours until about 5 months old and cried the rest of the time!
