Moms of 3-4 month olds- Holiday gift question

Are you getting your DC's any toys for Christmas or Hanukkah? If so, what are you getting them?

My family is already asking me what to get for DS. He will be 5 months by Christmas. Any ideas would be great!

My DD will be 6 months on Christmas and to be honest- she really doesn't play with toys yet.
Maybe by then she will though...

I just don't want a ton of toys cluttering up my house. We really dont' have ANYWHERE to put them.

I think at this age I will ask people to get her clothes- we have more use for that. It's not like she understands Christmas presents yet anyway.

We dont have room for toys. She received hundreds of outfits when she was born (all pink LOL). So, I am asking everyone to give her their favorite book and write her a little note in them for when she gets older. My mom and my MIL are telling everyone to get us savings bonds for her

DD will be 7 months at christmas. we dont need much because we have a ton of stuff from our first DD. we are getting her two toys and that's it. My parents will get her a toy and savings bond. if other family asks...they will be told one toy and savings bonds. most people want to see her open a gift.
