shorts and a hoodie, every.single.day. Apparently, "pants arent cool.". On freezing days, he leaves with pants over his shorts, but loses the pants when he gets to school.

I think it's hysterical how between certain ages, being warm and comfortable is "not cool" I see high schoolers at the bus stops in the dead of winter with no winter coat- just hoodies. I mean like polar vortex cold! And apparently umbrellas aren't cool either- better to get soaked and look like a drowned rat all day.
I always wonder at what age comfort and warmth become ok again. College??

My son is 6 and wears mostly sweatpants or athletic pants (nike, addidas, under armour) with a long sleeve t shirt or sweat shirt and sneakers.
Once and a while he will wear jeans and a button down but that is maybe a handful of times a year.
