Moms of DC's over 1....do you still use a diaper bag?
Just trying to justify if I should spend $$ to get a new diaper bag. I do use mine a lot....but I guess I'm just wondering if I'll require more or less stuff as DD gets older? Thoughts....

Jaidy is 19 months and Damien is almost 5 and I still use a diaper bag. I lug around so much of their stuff I find I need it.

i don't know why but i feel like i hardly use mine these days. it sits in my car most of the time just in case. all i really need these days is a small bag for a sippy and some snacks when we go out. i think it's b/c i just hate lugging it around. i used it a lot more when she was an infant. but if you use yours then definitely get the new one!

I don't. Most of my bags are large and I just throw in the sippy and the diapees and wipees pouch and we're off. Or, if we are going for a nice walk, I just put diapers in the carriage and go. If he gets hungry, I could always buy him something.
If we are out for the day, I'll throw snacks or what have you into my purse. I don't use the diaper bag ever.

My DD is almost 4 and new baby on the way in September. I still use a diaper bag- obviously not for diapers right now. I just love having a big bag that fits everything.

Yep.. now Im looking for one that is more like a large pocketbook. My reese li bag broke and I used it until she was over 2!!!
Im the mom whos always got something.. a bandaid, itch relief, nail clippers.. you name it. So i need something bigger..

I just use diaper bag that is the city backpack. I do use it but wherever we go, I leave it in the car. It's close by if I need it.

My DD is 20 months and mine hasn't left my car in months! If we are going to the maill or something I'll throw a diaper and wipes in my purse, but that about the extent of my diaper bag use.

I still use mine but would not buy a new one at this point. I bought too many already by the time DS was 2 months and have been successful on resisting the temptation. 
I use it for diapers, wipes and 1 change of clothes. If I do a quick errand, I leave it in the car. Otherwise, I take it with me and put it in the stroller basket.
ETA: I would not buy unless I love the new bag of course.

YES! I never understand why people say over 1 they dont?
I bring Diapers, Wipes, Cream. Sunscreen, Snacks, Sippy cup ( sometimes bottle) , Sometimes a take along milk...Sometimes a change of pants..shirt and a bib...
Where would I put ALL that?

I am not using a regular diaper bag anymore, Iuse a large Vera Bradley bag that is really a purse.
M-F I don't need one at all b/c he is in daycare and we don't go anywhere at night. On the weekends, I use the Vera.

Me too! I still bring a lot of stuff out with us and feel like for the most part I need or use it all! I just bought a big Franco Sarto tote bag that is not technically a diaper bag but I use that.

Because after 1 it got much easier. No forumula, bottles, etc.
I have a first-aid kit and other stuff in the car and really can't be running after my child with a huge bag hanging off my shoulder.

i also use the vera bradley diaper bag, its stylish and holds are my stuff (i tend to always over pack no matter where we are going )

It depends where I am going. If we are going to the park for the day, then yes I pack one. If we are going to the library, or to run an errand, then no - I just throw their sippy cups in the car - then give them to them to hold, and 2 diapers and wipes in my bag, and maybe a small thing of pretzels.
