Yes.
I do alternate between a little knapsack and the big diaper bag depending on where we are going.
If we are just going out for a walk or a quick errand, I take the knapsack with a snack, diaper, wipes and her sippy.
If we are staying out longer and going out to eat, I take the diaper bag with the same stuff and add some toys, utensils, table mat, bib and whatever else we may need for where we are going.
