Mom's of girls - Am I doing this right?

I really have no idea how a bow is supposed to look in her hair. I tried brushing it to the side and clipping it, but her hair is too thin. This was the only way I could make the bow stay.

Is this an acceptable hairstyle or does she look like an idiot?? Please be honest!

Well, considering that's how I style DD's hair (except she has more on top, so the ponytail sticks straight up a few inches higher), nope, don't think she looks like an idiot!!!!! If she does, then so does my DD!!!! (and our kids could NEVER look like idiots) LOL!!!!

I style DDs hair like that too but since she has more hair, I use a rubber band and then the bow. I think it looks adorable Chat Icon

She looks adorable! I put bows in DD's hair anywhere I can. I think those little teeny tiny ponytails are the cutest! Chat Icon

That is how I did DD's until she had enough to ponytail it to the side.

So cute! Chat Icon

yep :) DD wore her hair like that for awhile, til she had enough thickness to pin it to the side. I think your DD looks precious with her hair like that.Chat Icon

I don't have any experience since I have a boy. But it looks perfect to me. I see little girls all the time with what I call, "the cute puff 'do". It looks adorable and she is Chat Icon

Chat Icon Chat Icon So cute! Looks good to me-- I feel clueless with how to do DD's hair too, and she's got a LOT of hair. But it's been a LONG time since I wore pigtails or the little pom pom hair thing, so I'm out of the loop with how to do it Chat Icon

Re: Mom's of girls - Am I doing this right?

It is adorable. That's how my mom did my hair when I was a baby.

Im the mom of a girl with more hair than Rapunzel. She has had it from birth and has yet to lose any. Frankly, she has a mullet but I hide it well so she can maintain her dignity. She has a ton of those bows on clips and on non-day care days, those bows are her trademark.

Re: Mom's of girls - Am I doing this right?

She's looks adorable! I tried the clip/bow but DD never had enough hair to hold it so I used these headbands that have like a "pantyhose" material so they weren't tight. Got them at BRU. This picture was when she was 7 months old.
