Moms of girls: 1st Birthday Party themes??
If you did a theme, what did you do? I'm so clueless right now. DD is not really into any one thing so I'm open to all suggestions.

we did Moose A Moose for DD's first bday and Yo Gabba Gabba for her 2nd, but if she wasnt into anything, I think I would pick a color and do something like that or butterflies or flowers...

I did Sesame Street, but mainly concentrated on Elmo - My daughter loved Elmo at the time.
So, I decked out the house in Sesame Street decor - I ironed on Sesame Street patches on shirts for me and DH! <snicker> (My hubby will wear whatever I put on him!)
I got a cake from Riersterer's bakery (they do awesome stuff)...It was a lot of fun! I bought everything from www.1stwishes.com

With first DD we did a cupcake theme and for second DD we're going to do a Halloween party but more of a pumpkin theme.

With first DD we did a cupcake theme and for second DD we're going to do a Halloween party but more of a pumpkin theme.
I was thinking of doing something pumpkin/Halloween related since it will be 2 weeks before.
Like the cupcake idea too.

Thanks! My DH still has no idea what that cake cost us  we're doing cupcakes this year ourselves to compensate

For her 1st birthday, we did a Care Bear Theme (old school Care Bears).
For her 2nd birthday, we did a Ladybug Picnic Theme
For her 3rd birthday, we are doing a Strawberry Festival / Strawberry Shortcake Theme
Other friend's themes I've seen:
- Circus
- Cupcake
- Princess
- Sesame Street
- Fairy Tale party (Hansel & Gretel, Red Riding Hood, Snow White, etc.)

We did Sugar and Spice. I made centerpieces that contained big cinnamon sticks (12 inch tall) and big lollipops. The invitations were lollipops (ordered them on etsy).
