Moms of Girls. When did you cut their hair?
DD is almost 15 months old- and her hair is out of control! I just wanted a trim done on her bangs- because she doesn't go for bows- but her hair in her eyes.
Help!

Re: Moms of Girls. When did you cut their hair?
DD has really curly hair- so the back part we haven't cut yet. My MIL cut the front bangs so she could see at about 20 months.

Re: Moms of Girls. When did you cut their hair?
Kaitee is 27 months old and she hasn't had it cut. I am not a fan of bangs so we aren't going to give them to her.

Re: Moms of Girls. When did you cut their hair?
I was wondering this too Liz. DD doesn't have long hair by any means but the wisps are forever in her face and now getting into her eyes. She too has been pulling out her clips. If anything, I would just trim them ever so slightly myself. If the rest of your DD's hair is long....get a little trim!

Re: Moms of Girls. When did you cut their hair?
DD is 1 year and 3 months and we haven't cut her hair yet. it's VERY curly. I honestly think we are just going to let it grow.

Re: Moms of Girls. When did you cut their hair?
The back of her hair is super super curly, but the front is stick straight- but always messy because its a little long in the front!
I'm so afraid to do it myself. The trim would only be in the front- because I love her tight curls in the back.

Re: Moms of Girls. When did you cut their hair?
DD is 16 months and we just went for her first haircut last week. Her bangs were in her face and she also will not let me put any bows or clips in her hair.

Re: Moms of Girls. When did you cut their hair?
i did my older dd when her hair needed it. She was about 18 months. My younger one is 16 months and has a semi curly mullet, but I just can't cut it yet.
i'm not a fan of bangs, so i let their hair grow out then trim it.

Re: Moms of Girls. When did you cut their hair?
dd is 18mths and i havent cut it yet - it did get a little crazy but its more manageable now (the bangs were killing me and she wouldnt let you do anything to her hair as well)..she wont sit still long so im sure at this rate it will be a while for a haircut

Re: Moms of Girls. When did you cut their hair?
Kaydyn was born with a ton of hair....she doesn't do bows or clips (she takes them out and eats them) so my sister just cut her bangs the other day so her hair wasn't in her eyes. She is 9 1/2 months.

Re: Moms of Girls. When did you cut their hair?
Guess what? I've never cut either of my girls' hair--they're 18 mos. and 3 YEARS old!! The little one doesn't keep a clip in her hair--so I may trim the bangs, but really I'm holding out until I can put it up. The older one always some sort of ponytail/clip combo, so it looks fine.

2 years old and still haven't cut it! Not enough to cut yet - although she is getting a mullet in the back.

Re: Moms of Girls. When did you cut their hair?
DD got her first trim at 11 months. The sides of her hair were just out of control so we took her to get it trimmed. Now I try using a bow, clip or whatever in her hair and if it is strong enough to stay in - she usually pulls it right out in 5 seconds or less
I trimmed her hair the second time, the next time will be in Disney

Re: Moms of Girls. When did you cut their hair?
Jordana is 2 1/2 and she hasn't had her hair cut. Her hair is very curly, so we just keep it out of her eyes with barettes, pony tails or pig tails.

same here. DD is 2-1/2 and nothing has been cut! No bangs either, I just make sure I clip it back or put it in a pony tail or pigtails.
