Moms of girls-when did you start potty training?
DD is only 11 months but I'd like to see when other moms started potty training their little girls.
When did you start?
When was she fully trained?

I introduced it right at her 2nd birthday. She didn't take to it for quite a while--in fact, she maybe used the potty 3x during the following 9 months. She was fully trained this June--2 years, 9 months.
My younger DD is 16 months, and I have nooo plans to start anytime soon.

I started training her at 22 months at her insistence (the older kids in daycare were training too). She was fully trained at about 26 months but I give her daycare more credit than myself.

Around 2.4 - she was pottytrained within about 4 months. It started SLOOOOOW.

I started at 39 months. She was trained at 39 months and 3 days. I can't imagine working on it for months!

Its been on going for almost a year now - she will be 3 next month..
Its like a 2 steps forward - 5 steps back sorta thing!

DD is 2 1/2 and many months ago she showed interest and would sit on the potty almost everyday and finally one day she went pee pee and then a few days later she pooped and since then she absolutely refuses to sit on it anymore! so who knows!

When they are ready it shouldnt take more than a week tops!!!!
I started the girls at 2...I would give it a long weekend and if by the end they still hadnt made any progress I would stop and put it off for another month or so....
When they were ready it took 3 days...they were exactly 3 years old.

My DD trained herself at 2 years, 3 months old. She's always been very independent and saw everyone else in the family doing it and took to it right away once she began. I never had to do anything with her at all - she even wiped great.
