Moms of Summer babies... 1st bday thoughts/ideas??
DD will be 1 August - and I am starting to get my thoughts together...
so I was wondering what are you Moms planning? Where? How many people? What theme?
My original thought was to have a backyard BBQ, partially catered, themed for DD (theme not yet decided..) DH says to invite everyone - but thats like 50 people  I think thats a bit much

My DD will also be 1 in August.
We are planning on a backyard bbq at my parents house. They live on the water near the robert moses bridge and their house is just beautiful. My dad said we could probably do about 50-60 people, but our list is 107 Since family alone is over 40 people, we may just do family...not quite sure yet..

Well I am not summer but, we did the same thing you are doing... last weekend. It was wonderful. 50 people also.

We had a backyard party for DS's 1st birthday. Just immediate family and our best friends was 50 people.
This year (he is turning 2) we are doing the same thing but also having a few smaller playdate "parties" with his different groups of friends.

DS will be 1 on Labor day! Since I am due with DS#2 only days after, we are waiting to get my section date & most likely doing a family BBQ at our house sometime in mid August. I don't want to not celebrate DS first birthday but don't want to plan something where I might go into labor

DS is going to be 1 Memorial Day weekend
Doing a backyard party at my parent's. Construction theme, ordered wraps and other sandwiches, salads, nuggets and fries for kids, renting tables, hired a music person for the kids and invited about 90 pple

DS is an Aug baby and DD will be 1 in July.
we had a time capsule party for DS as well as having one for DD.
we do it at the park and we usually have 100+ people.
DDs is more of a time capsule tie die theme.
we are hiring a clown for 2 hours
