moms of twins or kids close in age
I need stroller help. DS will be 13 months when baby # 2 comes. We have the snap 'n go and the Graco snugride that he just grew out of that we will save for the baby. He is now in a Graco Metrolite. I will keep that for when we are out with only one of the kids and won't need the double stroller. Which double stroller do you recommend? I have seen people with one that has the infant seat in the back and a stroller in front for the older child. But then after 6 or 7 months, I won't need that anymore when they both sit in a regular stroller so I find that kind of a waste. Does Peg Perego make one? What do you ladies all use? TIA!

Mine are 20 months apart and we got the Duo Glider. We used it for a year and half. I felt it was worth it to get the double and don't regret it. It's a little bulky but I think it maneuvers well in stores and through doors. Now we use the single Chicco stroller for my youngest when we go out.

Re: moms of twins or kids close in age
I have had the Peg Aria (Side by Side) and I also have a Graco double.
They both have their benefits.
I love how light and easy to fold the peg one is...however sometimes it can be a pain because it is wide.
The graco is very heavy without 2 kids in it...just think how it will feel with 2 kids. It is hard to push sometimes.
My peg was destoyed in the car accident and I didn't want to pay that kind of money again for one so I got the duo.
I do miss the peg.

Re: moms of twins or kids close in age
We just recently got a Phil and Ted Sport buggy and LOVE it. The only downside is that it doesn't hold an infant seat.
I love that its so light-21 pounds and it isn't wide like the side by sides. It also handles really, REALLY well.
It's $$$- but I feel since this is the ONLY stroller we'll ever buy (some of my friends have been through 3 or 4 until they found one they liked) it was worth the expense.

I have the bumbleride indie twin and although I haven't used it that much I already love it. It does hold an infant car seat.

ooo I like that one!! It doesn't look like it would fit a toddler though? Does that front part come out for when they are older, or in the summer when they don't need to be covered?

I have it as well. In the picture, the footmuffs are on - they unzip completely. I've never actually used them yet (since we haven't been strolling outside in the cold much). My two are 23 months apart. Ella's 2.5yrs old, and fits just fine. Erik goes in it in his infant seat.

Mine are 16 months apart. I started with a Graco Duoglider, but it was so heavy. I really hated it.
When dd was closer to 2 I got a Sit N Stand, which I still use all the time.
If they'd had it at the time I'd have gotten that Sit N Stand Elite from One Step Ahead. It's a double stroller and then converts into the sit n stand when the toddler is big enough.

That one sounds nice too. I'll have to check all of these out. Thanks ladies!
