Moms pregnant with #2 or more, anyone feel guilty they are not doing much for #2?

We are having another boy who will be born in the same month as DS#1. Poor DC#2 will be getting mostly all hand me downs. I can't help but feel bad that this baby is not getting much attention compared to DS#1.

Does anyone else feel bad that their second child isn't getting as much attention?

I'm on #3 and most days I forget I'm even pregnant ...How bad is that ??!

this pregnancy is going soooo fast! I forget I am pregnant a lot and we haven't taken any belly pics! Last time we took every single week. I seriously need to get on it (21 weeks now).

My countdown to #2 is 1 day 8 hours!
She is going to be born in the same month as my other DD and can wear all her clothes. I kind of feel bad that a big deal hasn't really been made about her or my pregnancy. But I know how excited I am and I know that once she's here it will be just the same as it was with my first!

I've been so bad it's awful...I'm still early on but with running around after a toddler and then moving I've had not one second to even think of what to do or get for the new baby

I feel the same way! We're having another girl and she'll be born in the same season as DD #1. I want to find a way to make this pregnancy (and baby) feel just as special as the first!

I think it is totally normal. I'm so busy running around after DS that there are so many days that I forget that I'm pregnant (except when I feel my baby move around).

Honestly I wish I could be like I was with #1 but physically I don't have the energy and since we are having twins it's even worse!

Being pregnant with #2 was nothing like with DD. Aside from feeling like crap the entire 9 months, I barely even paid attention to the fact that I was pregnant. Even now, #2 spends the majority of the day in his bouncer seat while I keep DD occupied.

I forget I'm pregnant too!! I was just talking to DH about the fact that we only have about 12 more weeks until my due date. This pregnancy is FLYING by and I feel like I'm not really getting to enjoy being pregnant but I guess that's what happens when your running around after a toddler

It sucks at first but you get used to it. I have one of each so that was a bit different but I promise that child will be just as loved and doted on.

i always tell dh i forget im pregnant until i feel ds start kicking me - prob telling me HELLO im here too! Im not as strict taking my vitamins as i was w ds. im not as careful with foods as i was with ds.

nope...quite honestly, having a less than two year old for the most part of this pregnancy, i didn't have time to even think about number #2 that was coming. It's normal.

haha..34 weeks here and JUST starting to do baby things. Reorganized closet, brought 0-3 month clothes out of attic (havent washed them yet).

Everything is still in attic and needs to be brought down. My sister keeps harassing me saying "you know you are having a baby, right ?"


I just think the 1st time around requires so much more preparation because you dont have anything and have to put everything together.
Plus, I'm freakin tired at the end of the day, last thing I feel like doing is more chores.

i keep this baby is the same gender as DC because of all the great clothes I have! I think what you're feeling is totally normal.

No - I don't know the baby's sex yet - but if it's a boy, well, he has an obscene wardrobe just waiting for him of beautiful clothes. He won't know if they had the tags on them or not - they won't be stained or ripped so what's the difference?
He'll have wonderful toys to play with - again, in perfect condition.

I feel bad for my son b/c I'm just not going to be able to give him 100% of my attention anymore .........

I'm not going to be doing too much because
a. we can't afford to get all new stuff, redecorate...ect.
b. I'm just too tired and exhausted taking care of DS to even start thinking of getting ready for DC#2 I feel bad.
