Moms! The items you cant live without!?
Even though Im still very early im 9.5 weeks today, ive started to just look at babies r us.
What items do you highly recommend? What items did you not put on your registry but later on realized you needed it?

Miracle blanket for swaddling
Fisher price bouncer seat ( we have the Itsy Bitsy Spider one.....but the themes change)....this was once DS was about 6 or 7 weeks old & a little sturdy.....before that we used the Fisher price Papason bouncer with vibrate.
Boppy because I BF....if I bottle fed I don't think I would get it.

Infant to Toddler Rocker (I never used a bouncer, they outgrow them too fast)

the snap n go is a MUST
also, a bouncy seat (any brand, we actually used a cheap one by summer) and a swing will be LIFESAVERS when the baby is fussing.

You will get some totally different answers on this one. Some of the things mentioned my PP I could definitely do without, while others weren't mentioned at all!
My list:
video monitor
swing
swaddle me
Baby Bjorn carrier
pacifiers
chucks for the changing table
Triple Paste diaper cream
cloth diapers as spit up cloths
tons of bibs for spit up
Exersaucer- still use at 27 months- I kid you not!!

* A ton of onesies - So much easier then cute little outfits in the first few weeks

* Changing table pads for when she pees on me while changing her diaper

-Newborn to toddler rocker - was a godsend when I had to get things done around the house
-Rainforest Jumperoo - DD LOVED this!
-Snap & go...DD is 15 months, STILL in her infant seat and I use this stroller more than my Pliko
-BundleMe was fantastic thru the winter months - kept DD sooooo warm!

I COULDN'T AGREE MORE!!! This seriously has to be the one thing that I cannot imagine NOT having. All the other stuff is important but in phases - this is one thing you will use from Day 1 till they are toddlers!

by far, the best item is the angelcare monitor (don't have to stare at baby to see if it's breathing... an alarm will sound, so parents can sleep soundly w/o worrying).
other items:
boppy
tons of receiving blankets (at least a dozen)
tons of fitted sheets (at least 8)
fleece sleepsacks
sleep gowns with foldover wrist cuffs
ameda breast pump (so valuable if you can't nurse and you're getting engorged!)
bebe au lait nursing cover
plain 'waterproof burp cloths/lap pads' at BRU.... We use them on the changing table (catches pee and spit-up, so you don't have to change the covers that often)
babybee diaper creme
