Moms w/ DC using Alimentum
Does anyone else's insurance not cover it? Just curious. Thanks

when we were on my empire-united healthcare it was covered and 7 cases of RTF came to my door monthly. when that ended and i had to switch to DH's Aetna it wasn't covered no matter how much we tried. Luckily, the left over cases kept us going for months. Then, when we needed more, I got some off of some other teachers on Craigslist (ended up knowing some of the same people) who had theirs covered the whole time. They charged us $3 per bottle of RTF. Really nice couple.

Nope, my insurance won't cover it. It sucks because I was told that in NJ (where I live), it's a state mandate that they have to cover it, however my insurance is self funded therefore they don't have to comply with the state mandate. Totally sucks.

Mine didn't either. I also found a really nice family on Craig's List who had extra and gave it to me for next to nothing (compared to what it sells for).
