At that age they were eating cereal but they started at 3 1/2 months .A tablespoon of cereal with 1/2 scoop of formula and an ounce of water. By 4 months they were eating it twice a day and at 4 1/2 months one veggie or fruit and 2 tablespoons of cereal.

We did cereal for 2 weeks, tested all varieties. Then did straight up fruit and veggies about 3oz twice a day.

Ok thanks. Right now DS is eating about 2tbsp oatmeal and an ounce of fruit for breakfast and dinner. We just have avocados to try then we will move to vegetables. Should I continue with fruit for breakfast and dinner and veggies for lunch?

honestly I'm not so rigid, I do whatever. The only thing is I like to do yogurt in the morning cause it makes him poop and I like to get that out of the way before the day activities start.
