Mom's who used double strollers...

How long did you use them for? I am just trying to decide what I want to do about this...my children will be 20 months apart.

My mom uses a double for my son and my nephew.
She has been using it since DS was 3 months and nephew was 21 months. They are now 10 and 28 months.

Andy is 1 and Sarah is almost 2.5 and we still use ours, and I don't plan to stop for a while. We have a Sit N Stand and a double jogger. We had a Duoglider but it was too heavy so I sold it.

I have a sit and stand. mine were two years apart. They are now 1 and 3, I've used it for 1 year, I more than likely will use it for at least 1 more year.

I eventually want to get a double jogger, but I don't know what to do about when the baby is in the infant seat. One that I saw has an adapter for the infant seat but it was too much $$ right now. I liked the sit and stand too, but I feel like ds is a little too young for it still (18 months)

We started with our double when Alec was born and Nick was 17 months old. Nick is now 3.5 and Alec is 2, and we only use it for "walking vacations", like Disney World, or when Nick requests it, which is a once in a blue moon thing. In all, we used it full time for about a little more than a year and a half, and I can see us using it periodically for probably another year.

Sarah has been sitting on the jumpseat in the sit n stand since about 20 months. She doesn't even realize she can stand.

I know he can be belted in, but he's darn close to learning how to unbuckle! Belt buckles are his favorite pastime I'll have to duck tape him into his car seat soon.

my little ones are two far apart( 4yrs) but my son would have love a double stroller .
He is telling me all the time he wants to sit in the stroller..

I think you will get alot of use out of a double stroller..
