Re: Mom's with Baby Boys- Clothes Question
DS lived in rompers from Carters last summer. I also found some stuff at Target and Kohls. I love Gymboree for boys, too.

Re: Mom's with Baby Boys- Clothes Question
I bought Old Navy tshirts and shorts when DS was 6 months old (he still has stock left). I just bought clearance items and they were like 2-3 bucks a piece. Well worth the future investment.

Re: Mom's with Baby Boys- Clothes Question
also marshalls! I love the clothes there (although their recession/january inventory was pitiful) We generally get stuff there, at H&M, childrens place, target, BRU, and carters
DS grows like a weed. (He's almost 5 months and is currently size 18 mo.... almost 24 months ) Becuase he was size 6 mo at new years, I am super-hesitant to buy anything in advance. I think he'll likely be close to 24 months at easter... but I wouldn't guess farther into the future than that.
(our ped keeps telling us that he'll slow down soon becuase we didn't give birth to a giant monster.... but I don't see much evidence to the contrary )

Re: Mom's with Baby Boys- Clothes Question
At 5 mts, I would wait a bit - they go through weird growth spurts still. Even last year, when he was a year old in April, I made the mistake of buying summer clothes that he grew out of too soon....
Now, at 22 months, he is more steady with his growth, so I bought some summer clothes already, but also because we are going to St. Maarten. I bought biggish stuff fgor him to grow into....

I hate anything 'cutsey' and 'babyish' (I know I know, I'm a PITA) but I don't like the farm animals and trucks and cars etc etc -
I love the Gap (and the Outlet) Children's Place, Marshalls has GREAT stuff (but it's hit or miss there), Target also has cute stuff -
I'm the same way. I was also going to recommend Marshalls. They ususally have Ralph Lauren or CK brands there as well.
I think Bloomingdales and BRU has a good selection too.
