Moms with DCs 10-12 months old...(feeding related)
DD refuses baby food now that we've introduced table food which is fine, I don't mind.
I'm having trouble figuring out what to give her for lunch. If your DC is in daycare, what sort of food for lunch do you send? Can you post what your DCs have for lunch if they only eat table food?
Also, how much formula per day is your DC drinking. We are STRUGGLING here with formula intake.
TIA!

Re: Moms with DCs 10-12 months old...(feeding related)
My DD is a bit older, 14 months, but I figured I would throw her schedule out there anywaysn in case it helps. She switched from formula to milk around 11 months, but before that she was doing 8oz 3 times daily. (Its the same with her milk now.)
For lunch, she likes the Graduates Pick ups Raviolis, peas/mixed veggies (the frozen kind that I cook for her), crackers, mini bagels, spaghettios, chicken noodle soup (campbells make them in big O shapes and also princess/dora ones that are bigger and she can self feed), pastina (either with sauce or cooked in chicken broth), baked apple slices, bananas, cooked carrots. She usually gets either applesauce or yogurt with lunch too. Gerber makes yogurt now that doesnt need to be refrigerated and she LOVES it. My DD happens to not like meat of any form yet , but my ped has told us to try cut up meatballs, or small pieces of boiled chicken.
Is your DC on table food only yet or still doing some baby food? If still on baby food, I would say to start by mixing in 'real' food with the baby food so they start to get used to the texture changes. That was DD's biggest hurdle. We started by putting a few real peas in with her jarred peas and gradually added more of the real and gave less jarred. HTH!

My DC aren't in daycare, but for lunch they always have yogurt and a banana. Sometimes they'll have a piece of cheese as well.

Re: Moms with DCs 10-12 months old...(feeding related)
Thanks..
Josie - she stopped the baby food once we Now introduced table food she refuses it.
Lauren - Thanks. I have to try the yogurt again, I was giving it to her a couple of months ago, but she was having major poop issues with it. I'm going to try the YoBaby Soy and see how that goes.
For example, today, she had some pastina, cheese and some of a bananna for lunch. I think I'm just second guessing if she's getting enough real food.
The issue is her formula intake. She has was taking four 6oz bottles per day, but now it's a major struggle to even get her to take 3oz per bottle. There's usually 1 bottle she will totally refuse. Her first bottle of the day she used to down after STTN 12 hours. Now we can barely get her to finish that bottle. I would think after 12 hours she would be starving.

Re: Moms with DCs 10-12 months old...(feeding related)
I am having the same formula issues as you and your DD. My DD will be 11 months next week and she takes about 5oz in the am bottle and about 5 oz in the last bottle and thats it She will not even take 1 oz in the afternoon bottle no matter how much I try. I just don't know what to do. She used to take 7-8 oz at each bottle (3). I am just giving her as much food as she will take since she is outright refusing the formula and I feel like she needs to make up the lost calories. Our next ped. appt. ins't until January so I am at a total lost. Maybe this more common than we think since both our DD's are refusing the milk.

I called my ped today because this has been going on for a few weeks, but this week is REALLY bad. The NP told me that at this age she should be getting between 16-24oz of formula still a day. 16oz being on the low end of course. She recommended I give her smaller bottles more frequently, but realistically I can't do that. (She recommended 1-2oz ever hour/90 minutes)... just not realistic for us. She also recommended trying a faster nipple (which we did), or even a sippy cup instead of the bottle (which I've done as well).
She did say just at this age, they are more mobile and more active and wanting to see everything and just be "busy" so bottle feeding at this age, they tend to get bored. I can't tell you how much crap we have next to the rocking chair I feed in her. Toys, books, the remote control... sometimes as long as she's playing with something she'll take the bottle, but after 3oz or so, that's it... lock-jaw...nothing's getting in her mouth!

Re: Moms with DCs 10-12 months old...(feeding related)
I have gone through and still going through with my DS. He is 10 months and 1 week. He refuses to eat anything that he cant feed himself. If it comes on a spoon you can forget it. As far as bottle he was doing the 3 oz thing as well. MY ped said not to worry as long as he is having wet diapers at least 1 every 4 to 6 hours that means that they are hydrated. My son loves chicken nuggest cut really small, grilled cheese and the gerber lil pick ups sometimes. he will maybe eat 3 or 4 bites as well at a time. i def. feel your frustration and concerns. all of a sudden the bottle feeding has increase but he does like sippy cup more. I think its the indepence stage. Good luck! Supposively this is very common with teething as well.

Chels is and was the same exact way after we started introducing table foods to her, we do yogurt and banana, hummus and pita, and steamed carrots sometimes, some cheese and the formula intake was nothing, we're starting her on milk now...

Same issues here!!!!!!!
I have been going nuts. She was refusing all bottles when teething and since then she is eliminating her am bottle even after sleeping 12 plus hours
She got 4 6oz bottles a day and I am going to cut it down to 3 bottle and try ti get her to take 8oz at one feeding

Re: Moms with DCs 10-12 months old...(feeding related)
dd is 11 months and she drinks 5bottles a day ( 5 1/2 oz) For breakfast, she eats pancakes, blueberry muffins, french toast, eggs and fruit
For Lunch-turkey meatballs, veggie patties, grilled chicken, trader joe's nuggets, polenta(I slice and cube), avocado, peas, cheese, pasta with a dash of sauce......these are just a few.
eta: I always have gerber or earth's best fruit/veggies on hand. DD prefers finger food but will eat the jars without a problem.

Re: Moms with DCs 10-12 months old...(feeding related)
We still EBF at home but she takes bottles at daycare (I pack 3 six-ouncers)and sometimes she finishes them and sometimes she doesn't. They have found that if they put her in a bouncy seat and let her hold the bottle herself she will take more of it. Otherwise she gets very distracted.
Our daycare provides lunch (we don't always like what they make so sometimes we send our own stuff) - DD eats shredded pieces of chicken, diced or soft cooked veggies, bread, pieces of fruit, puffs, rice, beans, sometimes noodles...
