Re: moms with disney card...
I'm not sure b.c we did a package - but in the store at WDW it came off at the register - I think it comes off your bill when you use it online.
Don't forget if you are going that there is a free meet and greet with Mickey - in innovations at EPCOT from 1-4 (ask a cast member if you can't find it)- you get in line and just show your card (you don't have to use it to book the trip you just have to own one) - then they take your picture with Mickey - you get a voucher and take it to the photo place near spaceship earth - where they will print out a free 5x7 of which ever photo you like the best from that meet and greet. I believe you can do it once a day (a cast member told us that) but we only did it once.
BTW they tell you that you HAVE to order the picture and pick it up that day - they told us 1-2 hours until we could get it (we were leaving the park for our afternoon break and weren't going back to EPCOT that night) - turns out it only takes 15 mins for the photo to hit the system - then there was no line - so I was able to pick and order the picture in about 20 mins - we then had it delivered to our resort the following day with package delivery.
Did you check out the site? They have info there:

are the savings worth getting the card?
It depends. When we got the card it gave 6 months 0% apr if you use it to pay for a disney vacation (includes deposits).
You get 10% off at the WDW store and the online store.
At WDW there is s free meet and greet which is nice but NOT worth getting the card for one free photo. You can also get 20% I think off of I think all park tours.
At Disneyland I think you can get free stroller rental which is a nice perk if you need one.
So I think it depends on what you want it for.
You also get discount codes for disney shows etc.
Then there are the rewards - you get rewards you can use at the store or parks, hotels etc. On our last trip we got a free meal with our rewards.
If you don't shop in the stores or plan to travel there soon - probably not worth it.
