Moms with the Nissan Murano
Can you share a picture of the car seat (s) in the car? We went looking today and I love the car, but wanted to see what it was like with two car seats and the space left over with a car seat in it.
When the seat is rear facing, is it touching the front seat? things like that, TIA!!!!

Re: Moms with the Nissan Murano
I don't have any pics but I have the Graco Safeseat and it's on the passengers side. We have to keep the passengers side seat pushed up some because the Safe Seat is long. My sister had her Britax in her Murano and it fit fine. I love the car by the way. I think it's sexy and it drives sooooo nice. There's alot of leg room in the backseat compared to SUVs. I used to have an Explorer and the legroom in the back of the Murano is so much more and it's more comfortable.

Re: Moms with the Nissan Murano
My friend has one (2006) and she says there is no room with 2 car seats. She just had her 2nd DD in Dec. They are looking for a bigger truck. One car seat is fine but two car seats leaves no room.
I have no pics but the seat is in the middle.

Re: Moms with the Nissan Murano
Thanks Trish, I call email Stacey.
I am not looking for anything bigger. We have a Tahoe and I hate it for many reasons (gas guzzler, too huge for me ) My toss up after today is the Acadia and the Murano. I just want something comfortable and not huge. I'm concerned with the Trunk/cargo space.
Can you put a stroller back there and have room? Didn't seem like it too much.??? Thanks again for the input.

Re: Moms with the Nissan Murano
I have the Murano and I've had 2 carseats back there -- my Britax (rear-facing) and my nieces Evenflo. There was still room for my 10 year old nephew to sit in the middle. Ordinarily I only have my Britax in there and since it is still rear-facing I have the passenger seat pushed up a bit so there is room between the carseat and the front seat. I still have plenty of leg room in there when I ride as a passenger. It was the same when I still had the snugride in there.
As far as the trunk space, I have my big Graco stroller in there and can still do a full grocery shopping and fit the bags around the stroller.

Re: Moms with the Nissan Murano
I have an 05 murano. I have 2 britax marathons in the back. One is forward facing and one is rear facing. I can sit in between them to feed my younger one. My kids are 14 months apart.
There's plenty of trunk space and both dh and i sit comfortably in the front seat both passenger and driver. I put a double stroller in theback with room to go food shopping and most of the time there's 2 singles back there with room still. I'm 5'3'' and dh is 5'10''
I love my murano and would get another one in a second!!

You should see the back of my sisters Murano....looks like a garage sale and she still finds a way to shop and put stuff back there.

Re: Moms with the Nissan Murano
I have twins and when they were little the Snugrides fit just fine. We have the Boulevards now which work well, too. Because I have a double side by side stroller, most of my trunk is take up. I llove the car but it doesn't grow well... which is why I'm on to a minivan this year

I have a Britax Boulevard and it takes up alot of the backseat. We are upgrading to either an Acadia or a Tahoe/Yukon because we don't think we will have enough room for 2 kids and their stuff.
