Re: Moon Palace

My cousin got married there a few years ago. My husband went but I didn't (I was pregnant). Everyone still raves about it...they have a flowrider, which my husband thinks is the best part of the whole resort! Someone was just mentioning how good the food was a few weeks ago. We're going to Mexico next year but staying at the Hard Rock Resort in Riviera Maya.

Which one are you going to?

The GRAND Moon Palace...leaving Sunday
There is the Moon Palace, and then the Grand Moon (newer resort) We chose this one because it had more activities for my kids. It has a water park, lazy river, arcade, bowling, and bumper rides.

Diane, how was it??
I'm particular interested in how the beach was, keep reading that there is a lot of seaweed and the water is brown Chat Icon

Re: Moon Palace

I forgot to post.
The resort is AMAZING!!!! The food was delicious, and the service was so great. Everyone was so nice. We had resort credit, so did many excursions.
The beach area is really nice, but there was seaweed. I was worried about that as well, but it did not ruin the trip. There are so many pools, and my kids enjoyed the water park. One of the excursions we did was swim with the dolphins, and the beach there was BEAUTIFUL.
We also did horse back riding exursion, trip to mayan ruins (Coba) XPLORe, where we did zip lining, and did the Cenote excursion.
We would go back in a heartbeat.

Thank you, Wednesday can't come soon enough!
We are planning on going to see the dolphins and maybe go to Xel-Ha.

Was the playroom an extra cost or is that included in the all-inclusive?

Were you able to use all of the resort credit that you had?

Play room is included. They have a playroom, and an arcade that is all included, such as gaming systems, computers. We did use all our credits. If you dont, you can transfer then to someone else, or they are saved for a year. You can also use credits for the SPA. The only thing you have to pay is the taxes.
