More "cleaning" and getting ready questions...
So I have a couple of little containers, for cotton balls, q-tips, something to maybe keep the pacifiers in, etc. They are brand new and sealed, but should I put them in the dishwasher to "sterilize"? I don't want to be completely maniacal with cleaning stuff, but want to do it all right.
Also, what should I do with the pacifiers? Dishwasher? I have seen that commericial for Clorox and it says you can use like a little bleach with A LOT of water- and there is NO WAY I am using bleach on something I am putting in my mouth or my baby's mouth. But that's just me.

However you are sterilizing your bottles you can do the same with your pacifiers. We live in the city so don't have a dishwasher, I plan on just boiling the bottle nipples (once I start giving him bottles) and will do the same with the pacifiers (if I use them). But I'm not into crazy sterilization. I'll do it once and then just handwash everything there on out.

I am going to boil all the binkies and nipples and store it in a ziploc bag.
It's just me, but I don't think I would use Clorox to disinfect items that would go into the mouth. I would be too nervous that I did not rinse it off well....

I put them in the microwave sterilizer with the bottles for the first use and when he was sick. Then after that I just used hot water to wash them.

I always boiled my pacifiers before use, and then ran them through the dishwasher going forth; as needed.
As far as the containers go... I would have never thought to sterilize them first....(and Im a germaphobe ) I always just wiped them down with a paper towel...
If they'll fit in the dishawasher and are dishwasher safe...then throw them in...
