Morgan Memorial Park (Glen Cove) for 4th of July fireworks?
Has anyone been to Morgan Memorial Park i Glen Cove for the 4th of July fireworks?
I'm contemplating taking the kids but would like some insight as to what to expect. Does it normally get really packed? Will it be too hectic for someone with 3 kids in tow? How early should I get there?
TIA

If you come, arrive early (at least an hour), plan to walk at least five min, bring bug spray, but prepare for a great show.
You may want to consider watching from Sea Cliff. I think the fireworks are viewable from the area near Sea Cliff yacht club. I don't know the name of the road, but it is long, winding, comes downhill through SC and goes passed the animal shelter on it's way out to GC Ave.
ETA - I think the road I'm referring to is Shore Road.
