Mother's Helper/Daycare?
Hi, my DD is going to be 10 months old at the end of the month and up until now my MIL has been watching her. Just recently she has been having some health issues and now can't watch my DD. My brother has been helping out a bit and friends as well...but time has run out and I need to find either a part time daycare or a "mothers helper". Can anyone suggest where to start???
This is so stressful because my husband and I work full time and neither of us can really take time off or take the chance of losing our jobs or me even working part time.

Re: Mother's Helper/Daycare?
I live in Holbrook and my MIL lives in West Islip.
It's so frustrating and still can't find anything. Does anyone know how expensive T. Time is?

I know that this is too far for you, but just to give you an idea, the Tutor Time near me in New Hyde Park is 1600/month for an infant your DD's age. They dont have part time options at that location. I think each location is indep. owned so you should call one near your house for their price.

Re: Mother's Helper/Daycare?
try care.com - my friend uses this when she is in a pinch for a sitter but they do have people who are looking for long term work as well...

We go to the tutor time in holbrook. For infant it was $325, but I think they went up a little like $4. So I think its $329/ wk full time. They do offer part time as well, but I don't know the costs.
