Mother's Helper... How much?
So my 14 year old niece asked me if she can help me this summer and be a Mother's Helper 1 day a week. She will be working a couple of days a week for her father to make some money, but my sister doesn't want her in an office all summer so they came up with the idea to ask me so she's not sitting home all day either.
Haven't figured all the details yet, but figured Fridays would work best for a few hours. I know she can help me getting the boys ready early. My 5 yr old will be going to extended school year this summer and my almost 3 yr old will be in his preschool camp program 3 days a week. The Friday she would come I guess she can help get DS1 on the bus then come with me to take 3 yr old to camp. We'll have about 3 hours so while I work she can sit by my pool or keep me company with errands, etc. Figured I'd pay for her nails once in a while if we go and then she can take DS1 off the bus while I go get DS2. Pretty much watch the boys or 1 while the other naps or comes to help if we go to the park. Honestly it won't be much work for her, but a little help for me I guess. Most of the time I have a feeling she'll be on her phone, but that's a No No when the boys are around. Probably be picked up around 3 - 4ish. Not even sure what to give or when since she won't be doing much and really looking for something to do this summer. I have a feeling she'll skip sometimes to do stuff with her friends. Do I even pay? If she is helpful do I wait till the end of the summer to give her $50 or $100? I guess we will wait and see to see if this all goes through anyway. Sorry so long, but I don't even think I know all the details and my sister is always flaky with plans and all too.
