Mothers that EBF and pump at work

My DD will be 4 months on the 22nd. I pump at work and then BF at home and at night. During the day she has 5 4 oz bottles. I have a hard time getting 4 at every pump and usually have to pump more at night or in the morning. Is this normal or am i not producing enough? Is that enough that she is eating? Sometimes she doesn't go through all 4 bottles. TIA

Do you have a little stash to help you through? Do you pump first thing in the morning? That's when I've always gotten the most. If you can get up before DC and pump, then nurse her, it should help increase your supply and put you over the edge with what you're not getting during the day.

When I first returned to work I was pumping 5x/day (I did this up until a couple of months ago).

Once first thing in the morning, 3x/day at work and once before bed. Also, I pump on the weekends too - now just in the morning, to get that extra milk.

A lot of the time I didn't pump enough. But I started doing extra pumping sessions to increase my supply and stash.

I never really stashed a lot, and it is gone. I pump in the morning, and get about 4 oz, then at work 4x, then sometimes before I go to bed, and if she had just had a bottle before i picked her up i pump when i get home. I always have enough for the next day but sometimes its a struggle.

DS is 4 months old.I always pump more in the AM- about 5 ounces. I pump 2x when at work and DS gets 2 bottles while I am gone. On the weekends and whenever I can during the week, I will pump an hour after each feeding so that I will have more milk. DS is drinking about 5 ounces in his bottle, although over the weekend he had a 5 1/2 ounce bottle and devoured it.

Your supply seems good to me. Maybe you could try giving more in a bottle in order to cut out one (4 5 ounce bottles) since she doesn't always take the last bottle.

I have been eating oatmeal i havent taken fenugreek. I have been eating apple and cinamon oatmeal though I hope it doesnt matter.

I dont BF anymore, but when I started losing my supply, I took Fenugreek and it woked within a few days! A BIG difference!

Not to beat a dead horse but try More Milk-its available at Whole Foods and online through a company called Motherlove. Sami just started it and noticed a difference in a day. MrsGraz had to stop using it because she got too much milk-the stuff is amazing. I used it for a boost-went through one bottle and i pump 16 oz per session now most times

On my days off I always pumped early in the am and would nurse her for all her feedings throughout the day. I really think this helped keep my supply up.

You need to drink tons of water and I had oatmeal every morning. I never tried any of the other things out there (fenugreek, mother's milk, etc.) but they may be both a try!

DD gets 3 5 ounce bottles per day. I BF her in the morning at 5AM and then in the evening when i get home tat 7:30 and 8:30 I just went out and bought the Mother Milk Plus because i noticed my freezer stash is all gone. I pump at work 3 times per day.
