I'm changing my hours when I go back to be 7-3.

I am NOT a morning person at all, but I wanted more time with DS in the afternoon, so I'm going to make myself a morning person.

Exactly what I did, and I am not a morning person either!

Did you become one at all?

I'm hoping I'm going to get used to it. Chat Icon

Re: Mothers that work

I am lucky to work p/t but I would long days. I leave by 7:20 am and get home between 6:30-7 pm. DH has more flexibility so he usually gets home by 5. On the nights I work, I get about an hour with her before she goes to bed.

I get home around 5:30 and I feed Jacob, bathe him and only get to play with him for about an hour until DH puts him to bed. I play with him in the morning too but its still not enough time for me Chat Icon

Re: Mothers that work

I try to get home around 5:30-6 and we put her down around 8-8:30. I also have time with her in the morning so I count that too Chat Icon

I did this too - switched my hours to 7:30am to 4 - hard transition at first, but give it 4-6 weeks and it will become routine.
